Massive Joe Studios

Massive Joe Studios is a Los Angeles based mobile gaming company focused on making character and story driven games. While much of the world is shifting towards making the next great farm sim, we want to make games like the ones we grew up around, that had story and strong characters. Games like Earthworm Jim, Duke Nukem, Leisure Suit Larry and others all had well defined personalities and underlying IP beyond the game mechanics. We’re founded by a group of veterans across the gaming, web, and animation industries.

Escape from Age of Monsters

Go download Escape from Age of Monsters, the game SlideToPlay called a “must have” “AAA title”, G4 featured as Game of the Week, and TouchArcade called “a gorgeous endless runner”.

Escape from Age of Monsters is an “endless runner” platformer featuring amazing hand-drawn art, humor, hordes of monsters, lots of punching, and a rocking soundtrack from The Binges set in the Age of Monsters universe.

Created by Jeff Matsuda, the Emmy award-winning Producer of The Batman cartoon, Escape! is an epic game about life’s most important lesson – don’t die (and if you can help it, save some kids and grab some power-ups along the way).

Age of Monsters – Rock Paper Scissors

If Michael Bay made a Rock Paper Scissor game, we’d like to think Age of Monsters – Rock Paper Scissors would be it. Set in the post-apocalyptic world of Age of Monsters, AOM – RPS is an asynchronous social game that allows friends to challenge one another in the ultimate battle for Rock Paper Scissor supremacy.

“The most epic round of paper rock scissors ever committed to iOS” -Kotaku

“Age of Monsters is worth a download, as the art and style really push this simple game further than it would otherwise go.” -TUAW
